More Money

I'm pretty sure someone mentioned South African coins in a comment. So, I thought I'd post one. 

This coin was minted in 1977.

This coin is Finnish and was minted in 1981. This coin isn't very old, but I think it is rather interesting. Strange border, huh?

Yes, all of these coins belong to me. Most of them were donated by friends and family that know I like to collect odd things.

A billionaire who wants to help billionaires make more money and a guy in close touch with lobor unions. Which of these people has my interests, as a common person, in their minds? Probably neither, but I can sure as hell say it isn't the billionaire.

A couple more

             I decided to post a couple more coins. Pretty much solved my lighting problem just by opening the window. Almost forgot that thing existed.

This one in the first two pictures is an English half penny from 1921. Interwar period. Still cool.

This coin is from ancient Rome. Estimated to be have been minted between BC150 and AD300.

I can't read anything on it though.

A couple of neat coins

This first is a five dong piece minted in 1966. Not very rare at all, but I think it's pretty nifty.

Side 1: VIET-NAM CONG-HOA

Side 2: NGAN-HANG QUOC-GIA VIET-NAM

I don't know what that means, but maybe some of you do. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

This second one is a ten pfennig piece from 1918. Maybe not too rare, but still neat.

I've always been interested in war history of all sorts. Though I don't know if it was minted during wartime, but I figure it's close enough.

Side 1: DEUTSCHES REICH

SIDE 2: Awesome eagle emblem. I know it's hard to tell. I need a new camera.

More to come when I (hopefully) figure out the little lighting problem I'm having.

My Spider Friend

Well, I decided this blog can just be about whatever. I'll just post whatever and see what works and what doesn't.

Anyhow, here is my pet spider. He lives in my front room and eats all of the flies and things that come in through the front door. For that I truly appreciate it.
